BEGIN YOUR WELLNESS JOURNEY.

Group classes

Group classes offered weekly, online and in the studio include:

  • Breath-based Yoga:

    A gentle asana class appropriate for all, in which breath coordinated with movement takes primacy. This approach honors the practitioner’s particular needs, while building physical and mental strength and discipline, gathering energy resources, and building foundation for meditation practice.

  • Core Yoga

    A faster-paced class with more emphasis on classical form, less on adaptation. In this class, we will do sun-salutations, work on inversions, and add some core strengthening exercises. Great for a boost of energy and fun vinyasa flow! Please note: this class is not appropriate for those dealing with injuries. If you’re uncertain if this class is right for you, please reach out.

  • Meditation in Movement:

    In this class, gentle movement is combined with breathing and Vedic chant to prepare the body and the mind for a seated meditation practice. This summer the focus will be on the five elements, including the bija mantra for each and other simple chants honoring the mahabhutas (earth, water, fire, air, space).

  • Pilates Mat:

    This open mind-body exercise class is built around the Pilates focus on the core. We work with the mat repertoire, small equipment, and modern innovations based on functional anatomy.

    Some benefits of regular Pilates include:

    increased flexibility, balance, mobility, and coordination;

    strengthened core and deep postural muscles;

    relief of back pain and muscle tension;

    improved posture;

    increased confidence and bodily awareness

  • Open Meditation:

    This 30-minute drop-in, donation-based group session is a great way to bring some calm into an otherwise busy, high-intensity season. Suitable for beginning meditators and seasoned practitioners alike, Emileigh will offer simple prompts and breathing instruction before guiding participants into time of quiet contemplation.

  • Ageless Grace:

    Music, laughter, and fun are all part of this amazing brain health fitness program that exercises all 5 functions of the brain while simultaneously addressing all 21 physical skills needed to stay optimally fit. Ageless Grace® works by re-opening the neural pathways created from the time you were born until approximately the age of 21 and, equally important, creates new ones by practicing functional movements we don’t already know how to do. All ages and fitness levels are encouraged to play with us resulting in big grins during and after each class.

Our current class schedule and fees can be found here.

Private Instruction

Whether you are looking to establish a healthier lifestyle, wish to address specific health and wellness goals, or move forward on your spiritual journey, we will curate a plan that is appropriate for you.

Available private instruction includes:

  • Yoga & Dharma Coaching: Yoga is an all-encompassing system that deals with all levels of the human experience.  A private Yoga lesson will address your particular needs and interests, which may include working with the body and breath, exploring the mind, relationships, behavior patterns, and developing a meditation or spiritual practice.  Study of the ancient texts and Vedic chanting may also be an element.  The Viniyoga tradition prioritizes a program that is adapted to the student.  $125

  • Pilates & Integrative Movement: Based on the Pilates repertoire and its focus on the core, these private lessons can be used to optimize the body’s balance, strength, and stretch capacities, or as a way to repattern neuromuscular habits, or to recover after injury.  In all cases, the exercise program will be designed for the individual participant, using Pilates equipment, and drawing on modalities such as Postural Restoration and Kinesthetic Anatomy. $125

  • Ayurveda Consultation: Translating as "the science of life," Ayurveda offers practical guidance for living in accordance with one's unique constitution while imparting wisdom for navigating life's ever-changing circumstances. Ayurveda aims to uncover the root cause of physical, mental, and emotional imbalances (dis-ease) and works collaboratively with each individual to develop a treatment plan that is accessible and appropriate. Treatment plans may include dietary modifications, meditation and mindfulness practices, lifestyle and behavioral change support, bodywork and/or energy balancing treatments, herbal recommendations, or referrals to specialists.

    Includes initial consultation and two 45-minute follow-up sessions. $225

  • Vocal Conditioning: A program based on classical vocal study, breath optimization, and Vocal Functioning techniques.  The exercises may be used to support the voice for singing and public speaking, to address pharyngeal/laryngeal reflux (frequent throat clearing or coughing), and clear restriction in the throat due to emotion or trauma. $125

  • Meditation & Mindfulness Techniques: Establish a personal meditation practice with 1x1 guidance by utilizing intentional breathing exercises to facilitate relaxation, nervous system restoration, and deeper states of awareness and presence. $75
